Contact information about you as a potential customer is obtained in various ways, for example we can get in touch with you at a trade fair or via information from your company's website. In order to contact you and inform you about our services, we have, after a balance of interests, found a legitimate interest in processing your name, email, telephone number, company name, position and address to see if you are interested in our services/products.

Storage period: The personal information is obtained from several sources and is reduced when the information is no longer needed for the purpose, that you have become a customer or declined further contact.

 

 

1.2 Current customers

If you are a contact person for one of our current customers, we need your information to contact you. Information that can be collected is, for example, contact information that is obtained online and offline, including personal information from websites, contact by phone or email and at events / fairs. We may combine personal information collected in one way (e.g., a website) with personal data collected in another way (e.g., trade fairs, customer meetings). You can directly or indirectly give us information about yourself and your company in a number of different ways, such as when you make a request for a product or when you contact us by email, phone or meeting.

Purpose: The purpose is to be able to process support matters, answer questions, send out quotations, provide product information, process agreements or to share information about Modulpac.

Categories of personal data: Full name, e-mail address, telephone number, company name, VAT-number / company registration number, position and street-address.

Legal reason: The processing of personal data is based on the legal support of a legitimate interest. We have an interest in processing personal data in order to fulfil our obligations to customers, suppliers and other stakeholders and to fulfil our contractual obligations.

Storage period: The personal data is collected from several sources and when the data is no longer needed for the purpose for which they were collected. For example, if you have been a customer, we save information about you and your company for 10 years after the last contact, in order to be able to defend legal claims (period of limitation).

Purpose: The purpose is to be able to process invoice documents, invoices, verifications and other accounting documents.

Categories of personal data: Full name, invoice reference, company information, invoice documents and accounting documents.

Legal reason: The processing of personal data is based on the legal support of a legal obligation. Modulpac has an obligation to process data in accordance with the law.

Storage period: The personal data is collected at the conclusion of the agreement and is then stored for seven (7) years in accordance with the Accounting Act.

 

 

1.3 Suppliers

How we collect and use (process) personal data:

If you work for one of our suppliers, we may need to collect information that can be obtained online and offline, from websites, via contact by phone or email or from events / fairs. We may combine personal information collected in one way (e.g., a website) with personal data collected in another way (e.g., trade fairs, customer meetings). You can directly or indirectly give us information about yourself and your company in a number of different ways, such as when you make a request for a product or when you contact us by email, phone or meeting.

1.4 Newsletter subscription

This includes everyone who comes in contact with us to take part of our newsletter.

How we collect and use (process) personal data: The personal information is collected when the registered person fills in the form for subscribing to newsletters on our website or informs us that they want to receive our newsletter. For current customers, the information is collected when the customer is registered and the contact person submits their contact information.

Purpose: Send newsletters with information and news from Modulpac.

Categories of personal data: Full name, e-mail address and company name.

Legal reason: The processing of personal data is based on consent and a legitimate interest for the current customer at the first mailing of newsletters, and if you choose to continue subscribing, we have continued your consent to receive our newsletters. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time through the link at the bottom of each newsletter.

Storage period: As long as you agree to receive our newsletter.

 

 

2. Job applicant

 

 

2.1 Open application

Purpose: The purpose of the treatment is to be able to receive and communicate with people who wish to work at Modulpac.

Categories of personal data: Full name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, CV (curriculum vitae) and personal letter.

Legal reason: The processing of personal data is based on a legitimate interest. Modulpac has a legitimate interest in processing your personal data for your spontaneous job application in order to satisfy your wishes.

Storage period: The personal data is collected when the job application is received and deleted no later than two (2) years after the last contact, in order to be able to defend legal claims, in accordance with the discrimination law (legislation).

Other information: At this stage, Modulpac will not request any more information. Social security number and/or sensitive information should therefore be excluded.

 

 

2.2 Job application for advertised position

 

Purpose: The purpose of the treatment is to be able to receive, answer and evaluate job applications for an advertised position.

Categories of personal data: Full name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, date of birth, CV (curriculum vitae) and personal letter.

Legal reason: The information is necessary to satisfy our legitimate interest in being able to administer the recruitment, in order to e.g., be able to assess which candidate that best meets our competence profile.

Storage period: The personal data is collected when the job application is received and deleted no later than two (2) years after the last contact, in order to be able to defend legal claims, in accordance with the discrimination law (legislation).

Other information: At this stage, Modulpac will not request any more information. Social security number and/or sensitive information should therefore be excluded.

 

 

3. Website visitors 

 

 

Modulpac uses cookies on the website. A cookie is a small text file that’s saved on the visitor's computer. A cookie can be either a session cookie or a cookie that is stored for a longer period of time. A session cookie disappears when the browser is closed, while a storage cookie is saved. The storage cookie is saved to help the visitor to experience Modulpac's website as we have intended. It can, for example, be about saving language choices or other preferences to make it easier for the website visitor during the next visit.

We use cookies to make the use of our website easier and more convenient, and to be able to adapt the use to you as a website visitor. 4. To whom do we provide your personal information?

 

 

As a starting point, your information is used only by Modulpac. Some information, which takes place with the help of subcontractors or partners (for example - IT suppliers, resellers, recruitment companies and accountants) may be shared with these parties - but only to the extent necessary.

 

 

5. Transfer of your personal data outside the EU / EEA

 

 

Modulpac’s ambition is not to transfer personal data outside the EU / EEA (third country), in the few cases where such transfer takes place, Modulpac has ensured that the suppliers comply with the requirements of the GDPR.

Modulpac ensures that the personnel working with the personal data handles your personal data in a legal and secure manner in accordance with data protection legislation. This means that Modulpac ensures that the personnel working with the personal data has an adequate level of protection for his or her processing of personal data.

 

 

6. Your rights

 

 

You have the opportunity to exercise your rights free of charge by contacting us. If we receive such a request, we may need to secure your identity with appropriate security measures in order to prevent unauthorized access to your personal data. We will respond to your request without delay but no later than within 30 days after receiving your request. You have the following rights:

 

a) The rights of access: You have the right to request access to information about what personal data is processed/stored about you. The information is easy to understand and is provided free of charge in electronic form.

b) The rights to rectification: You have the right to request correction of your personal data if it’s incomplete or in any way incorrect.

c) The rights to delete: You have the right to request your data to be deleted if the processing is based on consent or has been processed illegally. However, Modulpac can’t delete information that Modulpac is obliged to retain through legal requirements.

d) The rights to restriction: You have the right to request that we temporarily restrict the processing of your personal data. The restriction of personal data could (for example) be used when/if:

1. during the time it takes us to check that your information is correct;

2. during the time it takes us to check on our legitimate interest in one

treatment outweighs your interests and fundamental rights;

3. for you to be able to establish, assert or defend legal claims; 

4. if the information is illegal but you want the information to be restricted

instead of being deleted.

e) The rights to object: You have the right to object to the processing of personal data based on our legitimate interest. If you make such an objection, Modulpac will take your objection into account and make a new overall assessment of our legitimate interests and your freedom and rights.
